Our Transformational Goals
Over the coming 18 months we will focus on the following 6 goals (specific actions can be found next to each item)

• Refine and develop open-source dissemination of research data.
• Publish blog posts, articles and research papers that describe our key processes.
• Support knowledge transfer of best practice beyond Sabah

• Invest in a local Malaysian restoration education programme at Masters and PhD level
• Support the development of citizen science and training around volunteer programmes amongst our partners.

• Expand and refine our regular monitoring programme to determine plot-scale carbon sequestration.
• Refine our camera trapping and biodiversity monitoring programme.
• Measure the total change in key species across our plots through time

• Work closely in a uniquely equal partnership with the local community to improve livelihoods in the long-term.
• Develop a social science focussed research programme to inform our decision-making

• Identify and engage excellent quality long-term funding partners.
• Fundraise to support education and citizen science goals
